The midfielder of the French national team Adrien Rabiot assured on Wednesday, three days before the quarter-final match of the 2022 World Cup against England, that the 'Bleus' do not have a "dependency on (Kylian) Mbappé", despite the fact that the PSG forward has scored five of France's seven goals in Qatar.
Rabiot described Mbappé as "our main weapon" in attack and "why would we deprive ourselves of him", but added that there is "no dependency" on the PSG forward.
"He is a player with great potential and we know that he will generate 80 or 90%" of the goals, with his ability to accelerate and provide assists, "the goals will come from him 80-90% of the time, capable of accelerating, providing assists, he is our main weapon", he insisted.
The Juventus player, who appeared in a press conference at the training place of the French team in Doha, assured that "we have other players who can make a difference in a different way" against the English.
