The participation of Radamel Falcao García in Rayo Vallecano has decreased since he joined the team in mid-2021. Since the match on October 18, in which he scored a goal in the 1-1 draw against Atlético de Madrid, he has not had the opportunity to play a complete match. So far this season, Falcao García has only scored two goals in 21 matches, starting in only four of them. For this reason, it is likely that the player, who holds the record as the top scorer in the history of the Colombian National Team, is close to leaving the club.
However, not everything seems to be so bad for the Colombian, as there has recently been talk of possible interest from the Mexican team Cruz Azul in signing Falcao. According to reports from the Spanish press, it has also been mentioned that Peter Lim, the owner of Valencia club, would be interested in having the 'Tigre' in his squad.
Falcao for the Malaysian League?
In the same way as other teams, the current winner of the Malaysian League, Johor Darul Ta'zim, has expressed interest in signing Colombian forward Radamel Falcao García, who is currently part of the Rayo Vallecano team. The possible reason for this interest in Falcao is that his contract with the Vallecas team, where he currently plays, ends in mid-year and apparently there is no willingness to renew it on both sides.
The owner of the Asian club, Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, wants to hire Falcao, who is 37 years old, for the next two seasons. In addition, he intends for the player to become an ambassador for the team and the city of Johor Bahru after that period. According to reports, the record scorer for the Colombian National Team is considering joining his tenth team in his sports career.
How much could Falcao earn in the Malaysian team?
The fate of the 'Tigre' could take a radical turn in this transfer market. If the forward accepts the proposal from Johor Darul Ta'zim, he would become the highest paid player in the team, earning twice as much as he currently receives with Vallecano. The Malaysian team could offer the Colombian player an initial sum of 357,000 euros per month.
