The Porto will meet one of its former stars, Colombian Radamel Falcao, when they host Rayo Vallecano on August 29 at their Estadio do Dragão, where they will present the team for the new season, the club announced on Friday.
Rayo will be the last opponent for the Dragons before the official start of the campaign, scheduled for August 8, when they will face the champion Benfica to decide the Portuguese Super Cup.
In addition to seeing the latest additions, such as Spanish forward Fran Navarro, Porto fans will have the incentive of meeting one of their great idols, Radamel Falcao.
Falcao, 37, spent only two seasons at the club from northern Portugal - his first home in Europe - and with the blue and white shirt he won a Europa League, in which he was the top scorer with 17 goals, two Leagues, two Cups, and two Portuguese Super Cups.
