Christian Cueva and journalist Silvio Valencia would have faced each other in the practices of the Peruvian National Team. However, videos from the scene showed that nothing happened beyond some comments between the two individuals. However, the head of the press for the White and Red team, Nicolás Rey, would have been affected, according to a correspondent who was present at the national team's training sessions.

This concerns Walter Arraya, who is covering everything that happens in the friendly match between Peru vs. New Zealand in Barcelona, a city that belongs to Spain. He was clear and stated that Silvio Valencia did have strong comments directed at the person in charge of living day to day with the players of the 'team of everyone'.

"You have been in journalism for one year, I have been in journalism for 30 years," said Valencia to Rey, to which the latter only responded: 'Silvio, calm down, it's over', said the witness in an interview with Best Cable. However, he emphasized that the journalist continued to confront the head of the press by asking "who are you?".

The also journalistic director and member of the InkaSports page also pointed out that both Cueva and Valencia made a mistake in confronting each other, as he states that 'Aladino' only made a joke, but the journalist did not take it that way and that is when the negative comments began.

"There has been an error on both sides. First from Christian Cueva, by making a joke about Valencia's cap. Silvio reacted badly and that made the players uncomfortable," he concluded.
