No space nor the expected minutes were found in Emelec, and changes teams for 2021. Midfielder Wilmer Godoy was announced this Wednesday as the new reinforcement of Orense SC for the start of LigaPro on February 19.
The 27-year-old Ecuadorian arrives for one year to the Machaleño squad, coached by the Argentine and former assistant to Jorge Célico, Patricio Lara.

This will be Godoy's fourth team in his career after having defended the shirts of América de Quito, Liga de Portoviejo, Universidad Católica, and Emelec.
According to LigaPro records, in 2020 Godoy played 13 matches, of which he entered as a substitute in eight. He did not score or assist. However, he made 197 successful passes with an 84.8% effectiveness. (D)
