The Monumental stadium will no longer host the Ecuador Supercup final
The Monumental stadium will no longer host the Supercopa Ecuador final, which will be played between Liga de Quito and Delfín on February 1. The Ecuadorian Football Federation (FEF) announced on Monday that the game will take place at the Christian Benítez stadium, located in the Samanes Park in Guayaquil.
"The change is made in order to guarantee a correct performance of the show, since the Monumental Banco Pichincha stadium, previously considered as the venue, will host the match between Barcelona Sporting Club and Progreso on January 29, corresponding to the Conmebol Libertadores," explained the entity in a statement.
