The Boca Juniors defender, Frank Fabra, will replace Johan Mojica in the Colombian National Team, who was injured in the match between Girona and Tenerife. Therefore, he will not be available for the friendly matches against Peru and Ecuador in the United States.
"The coaching staff of the Colombian National Team announces that defender Frank Fabra has been called up for the friendly matches against Peru and Ecuador, to be played in the United States," the FCF stated in a press release.
Frank Fabra was included in the preliminary list of 34 players announced by the Colombian coach, Portuguese Carlos Queiroz, on October 29. He will now complete the group of 23 players called up for these preparatory matches. The defender played for Boca Juniors on Sunday in the match against Velez, which ended in a 0-0 draw, but was sent off for receiving two yellow cards.
The Colombian National Team will play against Peru on November 15 in Miami, and four days later, they will face Ecuador in New Jersey, which will mark the end of their activities this year in preparation for the 2022 World Cup.
