Independiente del Valle is the basis of the call-up of Javier Rodríguez to face the Under-17 World Cup to be held in Brazil from October 26th to November 17th.
With 42.85%, the Rayados lead the call-up, which is complemented by players from Aucas, Liga de Quito, Liga de Portoviejo, Orense, Manta, Macará, Universidad Católica, Emelec, Barcelona, Panama, and Delfín.
In the South American Championship, Ecuador achieved third place in the first phase, where they belonged to group A. In the final hexagonal, the Tricolor secured a spot after finishing fourth with five points, the same as the host Peru, but the goal difference played a key role in the Ecuador's qualification.
