"One day you are young", the first Peruvian series produced by Movistar, will be broadcasted in various countries such as Chile, Colombia, Argentina, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Panama, and Mexico.
The Peruvian fiction, starring Jely Reátegui, Rodrigo Palacio, Emilia Drago, Oscar Meza, and Gisela Ponce de León, will tell the story of a group of friends about to turn 30, a stage that many describe as the first one in which they experience the "great pre-adult crisis".
Written by María José Osorio, the responsible for the box office hit movie "Soltera codiciada", and directed by Joanna Lombardi and Bruno Ascenzo, "One day you are young" premieres on Friday, September 13th through Movistar Play.
Last Wednesday, the series shared a sneak peek of the story, where the protagonists live together and begin to feel the effects of age.
"At 29 years old, it was difficult for me to understand what was happening to me because I was very sad and couldn't get out of that state. I never exactly understood why it happened. I went to therapy and there we concluded that I had a downturn after a big trip I took... I sabotaged myself all the time with my moods and that's what happened to me at 29. And to create Ale, I used a little bit of that memory and energy. And I liked it, it was cool. It was a beautiful learning experience", revealed Jely Reátegui to El Comercio newspaper.
"Nothing is so important and the worst that can happen is that it goes wrong. And? Nothing happens, there's no problem with that. But well, we have to find some fun in that... In everything I do, I always try to have fun because otherwise, damn, we're screwed, I don't feel like working like that", she added.
