Like all his albums, Bad Bunny's new album has been well received on digital platforms thanks to his large number of fans around the world. However, one of the songs has caught attention. It is 'Thunder and lightning', a track where he dedicated a message to J Balvin.
"You've seen me, I always hang out with the same people, while you are friends with everyone like Balvin", he says in one part of the song 'Thunder and lightning', making a clear reference to the image that the Colombian artist has projected. As a reminder, J Balvin has been involved in other feuds with Residente and Christian Nodal.
What did J Balvin say about it?
Bad Bunny's indirect shot quickly went viral and J Balvin's response was not long in coming. Due to the large number of messages on social media, J Balvin spoke out through a live stream on his Instagram account. "We support each other, we made history, we created a new story, I believe", he said.
"I don't understand, but I know that the person I know is a good person. The twist really surprised me, but I wish him the best. I believe that more than being a great artist, because I always knew he had incredible talent, I knew long ago that the guy was going to be big. Nothing else to say. He's a good person, from what I know, I was very surprised by the turnaround", he added via Instagram after the controversy.
Like J Balvin, Bad Bunny also threw other indirect shots at renowned figures such as Shakira, Karol G, and Sofía Vergara on his album 'Nobody knows what's going to happen tomorrow', which features 22 songs and notable collaborations.
