From the next November 29 to December 2, Colombia will have the honor of being the host country of the first Intercontinental Cup of Dwarf Football, which will take place in the municipality of Mesitas del Colegio, in Cundinamarca.
The tournament will have the participation of up to 9 teams that will compete for the championship.
The Colombian National Team will be one of these teams, along with Bolivia, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, United States-Canada, Peru, and the participation of Germany and Spain is yet to be confirmed.
On November 29, the championship will begin with four matches, while on the 30th there will be a double round with 4 matches in the morning and 4 in the evening.
On December 2, the final and the match for third and fourth place will be played, serving as a prelude to the definition of this Cup.
The Cup will have the same rules as soccer, except for the dimensions of the goal, which will be smaller. In addition, there is a rule that does not allow two players on the field with a height greater than 1.45 meters.
It should be noted that the Colombian team, which will have players from all regions of the country, comes from a good performance in the Dwarf Americas Cup that took place in May, where the 'Cafeteros' reached the second round.
