Some figures of the Colombian National Team who play in European football have taken advantage of their vacations to visit the facilities of their beloved team and train to get physically ready for the upcoming season. This is the case of Juan Cuadrado, who was working with Independiente de Medellín.

The Juventus player, whose future in the Italian team is still uncertain, visited DIM at the Atanasio Girardot stadium on Saturday. The player wore the team's training gear and worked with the squad.

Let's remember that Juan Cuadrado has been spending time with his family and friends in Medellín, as well as attending social events. That's why he took advantage of an opening in his schedule to visit the club he supports in Colombia: Independiente de Medellín.

"A special visit on the second day of practice for the Mighty. Always welcome in your home," the paisa club wrote on its social networks along with a photo of Juan Cuadrado.

Juan Cuadrado wore the Independiente de Medellín jersey at the beginning of his football career. The player was there from 2008 to 2009, and then went on to try his luck in European football by signing with Udinese.

On the other hand, Juan Cuadrado talked about his presence in the Colombian National Team and dismissed the possibility of retiring from the national team. "For me, it is an honor to always represent the National Team. But beyond what people say, I believe it's up to me. I feel good and I will work, train, and give 100% to earn a spot," he said in an interview with 'El Alargue' of Caracol Radio.

"There will always be new players who have that hunger and desire to be in the National Team, but as long as I have the strength, I will continue competing and trying, with the help of God, to be there," he added.
