Bad news continue in Videna. This Thursday, two days after the defeat against Argentina at the National Stadium, journalist Luis Carrillo revealed that Agustín Lozano, president of the Peruvian Football Federation, would have left the sports facility during halftime, when the national team was losing 2-0.

"Agustín Lozano, president of the Peruvian Football Federation, left his box at the National Stadium during halftime of the match against Argentina, with the score 2-0 against, and left the venue with an evident worried face," tweeted the aforementioned press man.
Carrillo added that, according to his source, the leader would have said a phrase that would call into question Reynoso's continuity as coach of the Peruvian national team. "I have to speak seriously with Juan," he would have said.
"'Although we see him working like no other coach, we are all worried about the results,'" a source inside the FPF told us, he added.

The Peruvian national team lost its last two matches for the 2026 Qualifiers: 2-0 against Chile in Santiago and the same result against Argentina in Lima. The national team is in ninth place in the standings with one point in four matches, and in November they will visit Bolivia in La Paz and host Venezuela at the National Stadium.
