Ricardo Gareca, coach of the Peruvian National Team, announced the list of players called up for the playoff with a view to the 2022 Qatar World Cup. Carlos Zambrano was left out of the squad, and he didn't waste much time to speak out and send a strong message to the Blanquirroja fans.

The center-back currently playing for Boca Juniors used his social media to share the excitement he felt after hearing his name on the list given by the Argentine strategist. In his statement, he left a phrase summoning all Peruvians who live with great expectations for the playoff match.
"Everyone together for a single objective!", he pointed out. He also posted a photo where he is seen hugging Gianluca Lapadula and two hashtags with the phrases "united we are stronger" and "up Peru".
In a matter of seconds, the thousands of followers he has on his official Twitter account interacted with the post in a positive way, as the 'Lion' seems to have regained his best version in the 'xeneize' team after delivering great performances in both the Argentine Professional League Cup and the Copa Libertadores.
Finally, it is important to mention that the Peruvian National Team will play the playoff match against the winner of the match between Australia or the United Arab Emirates on Monday, June 13 of this year. However, before that (on Sunday, June 5), they will play a friendly match against New Zealand.
