Rodrigo Pflucker won the victory of the second final of TCR South America at the Parque Ciudad Rio Cuarto racetrack (Argentina), the venue where the fifth round of the season was held. Likewise, the drivers Ever Franetovich and Ernesto Bessone completed the podium after entering the top positions.
Rodrigo Pflucker, in statements to the TCR South America organization, said: "Fue una carrera muy buena, con lindas maniobras y mucha concentración. Largando desde la mitad del pelotón pude evitar muchos accidentes que se dieron en la primera curva. Unas vueltas más tarde, los primeros se rozaron y pude pasar desde el tercer puesto a la punta. Es el momento de celebrar el resultado de estas dos carreras, ya que, el intervalo entre ellas fue bastante corto".

The start of the second race on Sunday had a spin-off involving several drivers such as José Manuel Sapag, Pepe Oriola, Raphael Reis, and Adalberto Baptista. This motivated Facundo Marques to become the leader, followed by Tito Bessone, Rodrigo Baptista, Ever Franetovich, and Rodrigo Pflucker.
In the second lap, the race was restarted with Marques in the lead, still followed by Bessone and Rodrigo Baptista. Shortly after, the latter lost two positions to Franetovich and Pflucker.
At the beginning of the fourth lap, Pflucker went from fourth to first thanks to Marques and Bessone getting uncomfortable in the first turn of the circuit. Franetovich took second place; Bessone third, and Marques fourth, who suffered a right front tire puncture and fell behind.
