Boca Juniors confirmed Mauro Zárate's injury in a medical report after the discomfort he suffered in the friendly match against Arsenal de Sarandí.
The Boca report on social media clarifies that the player suffers from a grade II muscular injury in the left hamstring.

This situation means that Zárate will not be available for the closing of the CONMEBOL Libertadores group stage, on Thursday 22 against Caracas, and will miss the start of the local tournament, which starts on October 30.
The forward has a history of injuries in recent times that have left him with little continuity in 2020, only playing a couple of games in Miguel Ángel Russo's era.
The friendly match against Arsenal was supposed to give him minutes on the field, but this muscular injury further distances him from the continuity the player desires.
