In the last few hours there have been rumors about Chelsea FC's interest in the Peruvian player who plays for Vélez Sarsfield, Luis Abram. However, members of the Argentinian team have stated that this news is false.
"We have nothing, there hasn't even been any communication with Chelsea in the last few days. With this whole coronavirus situation, the club is on hold, we only work remotely but we haven't received anything for Luis Abram. Of course, he is being watched because he is a very good player, but we don't have any offers from Chelsea," said Rodrigo Rapisarda, a club executive.
The Peruvian defender has had a good season at Vélez Sarsfield, which has surely attracted the interest of other teams in Argentina and other countries, but nothing concrete for now.
Abram has a contract until mid-next year and is already starting to be targeted by several teams. In January of this year, he was valued at around 9 million dollars, according to the specialized portal Transfermarkt.
