Boca regrets the imminent departure of youth player Ramos Mingo to FC Barcelona
The president of Boca Juniors, Jorge Amor Ameal, lamented this Thursday that 18-year-old defender Santiago Ramos Mingo is about to sign with FC Barcelona to play on the reserve team. The youth player will leave as a free agent since he never had a contract with the Superliga Argentina club.
"Look, he didn't come to train. No one can neglect themselves with the departure of this kid. Someone didn't make him a contract. As soon as this happens, we will appoint a commission and we will sanction those who have to do with this," said the new president of the xeneize club, who took office last December.

"There have to be responsible for this, we will look for them, both from the inside and the outside. There have to be representatives. No one speaks with Barcelona just because," added Ameal in a dialogue with Radio La Red when asked about the youth player's move to the Spanish team.
The rumors of the central defender's signing by the Catalan club began at the end of 2019, so the directors tried to get him to sign a contract, but his family refused. Ameal did not clarify if Ramos Mingo, whom he described as a "different player", will join Barcelona B in this transfer market or in the middle of the year.
