Barcelona desperately seeks a goal against Eintracht Frankfurt

Barcelona desperately sought to score a goal against Eintracht Frankfurt in the second leg of the Europa League quarter-finals, but there has been no precision in the attack so far. In the second half, the 'Azulgranas' were excited about the possibility of scoring from a penalty, although VAR determined that there was no foul after the problems that were evident during the review.

Everything happened around the 56th minute when Rafael Santos Borré cleared the ball from his area, and immediately the players of the Spanish club claimed that the forward used his hand. Despite this, Portuguese referee Artur Soares Dias did not consider it a foul and allowed the action to continue.

However, 90 seconds later, the referee stopped the match at Camp Nou because he received a call from VAR regarding the possible infringement by the Colombian player. Shortly after, the referee approached the middle of the field, where the monitor was located, with the intention of reviewing what had happened.

Surprisingly, Artur Soares Dias stood still at the side of the touchline while his fourth assistant provided an explanation. After a few moments, it became clear what had happened: there were communication problems between the referee and the Video Assistant Referee team.

Even because of the inconvenience, Rafael Santos Borré's play could not be checked on the usual monitor, and the referee had to use a smaller screen. After a few moments of analysis, the referee determined that there was no penalty, to the disappointment of everyone in Barcelona, and asked to fix his microphone to avoid further notification problems.
