Wisper and C. Smile (Chris Luck) have ceased to be part of Beastcoast. With the departure of both players from the professional Dota 2 group, the record of being the competitive team that stayed together the longest is broken. The news comes after their participation in The International 2022.
“C. Smile and Wisper part ways with Beastcoast. We're very grateful for their years of dedication and we're proud to have sponsored the longest unchanged team in Dota history. We wish them good luck wherever their paths take them next!”, Beastcoast posted on Twitter.

The Peruvian team accompanied their words with a photo of both players and the phrase: "The end of an era: the team with the longest history in Dota". Since October 4, 2019, along with K1, Scofield, and Stinger, they were the group that remained together for the longest time in the competitive area of the video game.
Adrián ‘Wisper’ Céspedes was the only Bolivian among the 5 members and, along with Jean Pierre ‘Chris Luck’ Gonzáles, were part of the Dota 2 team that managed to reach the Top 8 of this year's International.

The team managed to advance from the group stage and reached the Lower Bracket. However, on their first day in the main event, they had to face Hokori, another Peruvian team. Beastcoast eliminated their compatriots 1-0 and continued to advance in the tournament.
They then defeated Evil Geniuses 2-0 and had to face PSG.LGD in their third match. However, they were defeated 2-1 by the Chinese team, which marked the end of their journey in The International 2022. They took home $436,140 as part of their prize.
