The Western Europe (WEU) regional qualifiers are set to go down on the 17th of September. You stream and bet on all WEU qualifier matches at gg.bet. The event will be held online and will feature a number of world-class teams. 12 teams will participate, and only the winner will score a direct invite to TI11. Teams that finish second and third are eligible to participate in the Last Chance Qualifier, where a further two teams will score an invite to TI11. Let’s look at which teams are most likely to win!

1. Team Secret

Team Secret are strong favorites to win the Western European Qualifiers and advance directly to TI11. Team Secret is a legendary Dota 2 team and has over $15 million in tournament earnings, including 3rd place at last year’s World Championships. They are in great form after great performances at the Riyadh Masters 2022, where they took 3rd for $425,000, and at the ESL One Malaysia 2022, where they took 3rd for $45,000.
It won’t be easy for Team Secret to win the WEU qualifiers, but on paper, they are the most talented team in the tournament. And thanks to their recent form, they should win.

2. Entity

Entity is an up-and-coming team originally from India but now competes in the European region. Over the last couple of years, they have improved immensely under the watchful eye of MeTTpuM. Even though they have less than $200,000 in lifetime tournament earnings, we expect them to make a deep run in this tournament.
Entity has put the Dota 2 world on notice in 2022 with their strong performances at the PGL Arlington Major 2022, where they came 5th, and the ESL One Malaysia 2022, where they also came 5th. They showed that they could hang with the most elite teams in the world. We expect them to make the grand final before eventually falling to Team Secret.

3. Nigma Galaxy

If Entity doesn’t end up in the grand final, expect Nigma Galaxy to be right there! Nigma Galaxy was formed by former Team Liquid players in 2019 and they have been a team to be reckoned with ever since. In just a few years, they have won just $1 million from Dota 2 tournaments.
Nigma Galaxy is clearly an elite team and has had impressive showings at a number of Tier 1 and Tier 2 events. They are in great form in 2022 after coming 5th at the Riyadh Masters 2022 for $200,000 and 3rd at the GAMERS GALAXY: Invitational Series Dubai 2022. Nigma Galaxy will push Team Secret to the edge but ultimately fall short. They should come 2nd or 3rd and win an invite to the last chance qualifier.

When is the WEU Dota 2 Qualifiers Taking Place?

Don’t forget to tune in on the 17th of September to see the top Dota 2 teams from Europe battle for a direct invite to TI11. It should be an incredibly exciting tournament and we expect Team Secret to eventually take the win. However, don’t be surprised if Entity or Nigma Galaxy give them a run for their money!
