Red Bull Campus Clutch
The largest university tournament for the video game Valorant, Red Bull Campus Clutch, will have its second edition in 2022 and once again Peru will be part of it. The registration is already open on the Red Bull website for students to form their teams of 5 players. The tournament is exclusive to students over the age of 18 from universities and technical institutes.
Registrations
Registrations are still free for the qualifying stage. There will be a total of 8 dates, and the first two will start on September 3 and 4. The winners of each day will qualify for the semifinals, aiming for the 4 spots in the national grand final, which will take place in person on October 22.

The Peruvian champion team will have the opportunity to represent the country in the World Final, which will take place in December in a country and date to be confirmed. In addition to fighting to be the best in the world, the world champion will receive 20,000 Euros and the opportunity to attend an official Riot Valorant event as a spectator in 2023.
In the previous edition, Cataclysm Team was the Peruvian champion team and played the final in Madrid, Spain, where they left a great impression by defeating the team from South Korea, one of the favorites, in the first phase. Finally, the world champion was Anubis Gaming from Egypt.

The International Final will be held in person in December, on a date and in a country to be confirmed.

Valorant is a 5v5 tactical first-person shooter (FPS) for PC, based on characters, where shooting accuracy combines with the unique abilities of the agents. Developed by the creators of League of Legends, Riot Games, the main mode of the game focuses on Search and Destroy, where one team attacks by planting a bomb and the other defends by preventing the detonation.
