Although the BTS Pro Series 9 is a relatively small tournament, that doesn't stop teams from giving their all from the start. Without a doubt, this was the case in the match between 4 Zoomers and Infamous, who played two intense games and ended up drawing 1-1 in the seventh match of the Dota 2 tournament.
In the first game, 4 Zoomers managed to defeat their opponents with an excellent performance from Brazilian player Costabile, who once again proved to be the most valuable player on the North American team. Infamous had trouble finding answers to their rivals' attacks, and ended up giving up too much space, which was taken advantage of by the North American squad. This way, the first game ended in favor of 4 Zoomers.
However, in the second game, Infamous would start to gain an advantage with great performances from Alone and Sacred. Even so, their opponents wouldn't give up and fought until the end. Therefore, the game lasted for about an hour until Infamous' siege left 4 Zoomers with no options, and they surrendered with a GG after more than 60 minutes.
This is the second draw that Infamous has had in the tournament so far, as they previously obtained the same result against Lava BestPc. In their next match, Infamous will face Thunder Predator, who recently defeated the American team.
Lava BestPc defeats Black N Yellow in BTS Pro Series 9
Lava BestPc, the team that features former players from Thunder Predator, managed to defeat Black N Yellow by 2-0 in the BTS Pro Series 9. This way, the Peruvian Dota 2 team obtained their first victory in the tournament, after previously drawing with Infamous.
Now, Lava is in sixth position, awaiting the result of the match between Infamous and 4 Zoomers. Undoubtedly, the roster of MoOz, Frank, Leostyle, Mjz, and Minoz needed to defeat their opponents in order to gain confidence in the tournament, where they will have to face some of the best teams in the region. However, one has to consider that the squad consists of players who participated in The International 10, so Lava is seen as one of the favorites to win the competition, which offers a prize of $16,000 for the winners.
