Jeff Hardy and 'Broken' Matt Hardy could return to WWE after April 1st
The legends of professional wrestling, Jeff Hardy and 'Broken' Matt Hardy, could return to WWE after April 1st. This news has been strongly rumored among specialized media, and there are facts that back it up.
Last night, Matt Hardy announced via Twitter that he was leaving the company founded by Dixie Carter, TNA (Impact Wrestling). Meanwhile, Jeff has not announced his departure but it is a fact that he will go with his brother, as the contract they had with this company has expired.
"My stint with Impact Wrestling was DELIGHTFUL. EXCEPTIONAL talent & locker room. A great, respectful team that worked hard in tough times. - #BROKEN Matt Hardy (@MATTHARDYBRAND) February 28, 2017"
"I wish Impact Wrestling all the best going forward, especially the INDUSTRIOUS talent. I hope they're all treated with respect & fairness. - #BROKEN Matt Hardy (@MATTHARDYBRAND) February 28, 2017"
Could they have taken medical exams?
On the other hand, specialized press has reported that the Hardy brothers were in Pittsburgh yesterday. It is known that WWE has a facility for medical exams for its wrestlers.
Last Appearance: Empire Lucha Libre
The Hardy Boyz had a historic run in the McMahon company. They reached glory, but there were also difficult situations they had to face, which led them to seek other horizons. During their time in other companies, they were also successful and are currently at their peak, thanks to the great relevance they gained with their characters 'Brother Nero' and 'Broken' Matt.
But once they return to WWE, it will be impossible for them to be part of other performances around the world. It is known that they will have a contract similar to the status of The Undertaker, John Cena, and Bill Goldberg, who have limited appearances and do not participate in WWE Live tours around the world.
However, Jeff and Matt Hardy were announced for the Imperio Lucha Libre show, where they will have a dream fight called "Peru Deletion Edition," facing two teams: the Lucha Brothers, a duo formed by the Mexican brothers and stars of Lucha Underground Penta el Zero M (formerly known as Pentagón Jr.) and Rey Fenix, as well as the Nueva Orden Hispana (NOH), a partnership formed by Al-Cold from Chile and the former Peruvian champion Axl.
This will be the last fight the Hardys will have in South America. The event will take place on March 25th at the Eduardo Dibós Coliseum in San Borja. Tickets are 20% off until February 28th. This spectacle will also feature Alberto "El Patrón" Del Río, Carlito, Paul London, Eddie Edwards, Ricochet, and Zack Abre Jr.
