He didn't count on Baron Corbin. The 'Lone Wolf' returned to action and after The Miz's move, he got involved in the fight to leave the champion helpless in front of Maryse's gaze. This action could lead to a triple threat threat at SummerSlam for the Intercontinental Championship.
