The world of professional wrestling mourns the death of Windham Rotunda , known in the WWE universe as Bray Wyatt , at age 36, as reported by Triple H through social media.
In a message posted on X (formerly known as Twitter), the head of WWE's creative department revealed that it was Windham's father who called him to give him the news.

"I just received a call from WWE Hall of Famer Mike Rotunda , who informed us of the tragic news that our lifelong WWE family member Windham Rotunda , also known as Bray Wyatt , unexpectedly passed away today," the announcement reads.
"Our thoughts are with his family and we ask that everyone respect their privacy at this time," said Triple H without providing further details of what happened. However, it was no secret that the leader of the Wyatt Family was working on his return to the ring.
