The past year, the inaugural event that the third WWE brand maintains for now with the Brooklyn audience filled the Barclays Center: 13 thousand souls witnessed the first TakeOver outside of Full Sail University. SÚPER LUCHAS praised both the quality of the matches and the production of the event, which represented a leap in quality and especially marked a turning point for the women's division, when after the match between Sasha Banks and Bayley, the 4 horsewomen of NXT posed in the ring to send a message: women can be on the same level as men in WWE.

And although they marked the zenith of the show, the two hours in general did not decline, with a great The Vaudevillains vs. Blake and Murphy, the starring appearance of Jushin Thunder Liger and a ladder match as the main event with Kevin Owens and Finn Balor. Criticism and audience, in short, gathered very positive opinions.

Triple H was the one in charge of announcing a "Sold Out" via Twitter and a record for an event of this kind.

Originally, Levesque viewed the use of the Barclays Center with skepticism. He believed the place was too big for NXT, but sales started with a quick batch of 6,000 seats that soon sold out. Paraphrasing the famous song "New York, New York" during a press conference to promote the show, Hunter stated that "if one can do something like that in NY, they can do it anywhere."

A few hours ago we have learned that the ticket sales for this year's edition have not only remained at a similar level, but have grown in speed. Wrestling Inc, as well as numerous media outlets, point out that they have sold out in less than 24 hours after going on sale, which is a milestone in the history of the brand. Therefore, the Barclays Center will register a similar attendance, around almost 14 thousand people.

WWE NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn 2016 will take place on August 22nd in the same location as last year. For now, and two months away, there are only predictions in the form of a rumored Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Finn Balor that seems to be building up from the last weekly NXT. Will WWE be able to repeat the excellence achieved in 2015? With the rise of talents to the main roster after the Draft on July 11th, many fear that such a level will be unrepeatable. Stay tuned for further updates from SÚPER LUCHAS.
