Zack Efron and his radical transformation for the wrestling movie "The Iron Claw"

Zack Efron has surprised his thousands of followers with his physical transformation to take on the lead role as Kevin Von Erich in the wrestler's biopic titled "The Iron Claw".

This new film will be produced by the acclaimed A24, the same company that brought the Oscar-winning film "Everything Everywhere All at Once", so the performance of the renowned actor for this opportunity is eagerly awaited. We will tell you all the details below.

Through the official accounts of the renowned production company, a new promotional video of the movie was published, which will bring to the big screen the impressive story of the Von Erich family, one of the legacies of American wrestling, which is still highly acclaimed to this day. Kevin is the only one left alive, currently 66 years old.

Regarding the new poster, although not much is shown, we can appreciate the group of muscular actors composed of Jeremy Allen White who will play Kerry Von Erich, Harrison Dickinson as David Von Erich, Holt McCallany as Fritz Von Erich, and of course, Zack Efron in the starring role.

"The Iron Claw" is a film directed by Sean Durkin, who announced in mid-2022 that Efron would portray Kevin Von Erich in this feature film. Even at the beginning of this year, the actor posted a photograph of himself wrestling in one of the scenes in the ring.

The film will tell the story of the Von Erich family, known for being a dynasty of wrestlers in the world of sports entertainment in the United States, who made a mark in the 70s and 80s. However, away from the ring and the show, this family nucleus was involved in different tragedies and deaths of various members, earning them the famous "Von Erich curse".

Along with the new promotion, the release date in theaters was announced, and it will be on the eve of Christmas, precisely on Friday, December 22, although for now it will only be released in the United States.
