John Hennigan plans to return to WWE
As we previously reported on SUPER LUCHAS, John Hennigan (Johnny Mundo in Lucha Underground and John Morrison in WWE) has stated that he has plans to return to WWE at some point, and one of his goals would be to face Seth Rollins, who at that time was the WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
According to Richard Gray, from Wrestling News World, his return could become a reality, as he would be back on the company's radar.
According to this information, Vince McMahon has requested an investigation into Morrison's contract with Lucha Underground.
Until the details of Hennigan's contract with Lucha Underground are known, mainly the expiration date, WWE officials will know for sure when they can offer him a contract.
The veracity of this information may be doubted, as it clashes with the fact that the majority of the contracts that Underground handles are for seven seasons.
If Finnegan signed for seven seasons, he would be available until 2021. In the best case scenario, if he only signed for three, he will be available six months after the third season airs, at the end of 2017.
