As we have already published in SÚPER LUCHAS, veterans Bobby Roode and Eric Young decided to leave TNA during the last recording session of Impact Wrestling after twelve years of loyal service. The intentions of the two former members of Team Canada in the disappeared Copa Mundial X are still unknown, but both claim to have changed their status to free agents. This decision would allow them to choose where and how much to work without the need to sign a long-term agreement.
Dave Meltzer, from WRESTLING OBSERVER, has echoed some rumors that would place both men in WWE. It is possible that it is a situation similar to that of "Cowboy" James Storm, who was in NXT for a short period of time and then made his return to TNA in his debut on Pop TV. However, there are also precedents that play with the possibility of making a career in Vince McMahon's company, a goal that Samoa Joe is currently pursuing in the development territory.
Have Roode and Young left the Impact Zone to go to WWE?

Judging by their words, it seems that Roode and Young will not return to Dixie Carter's company, at least in the near future. Perhaps we can see them in the independent scene, Japan or WWE... Who knows? Only time will tell.
