WWE Superstar Planning to Leave
Several weeks ago we published some surprising information pointing to the departure of King Barrett from WWE, but it seems that the British wrestler may not be the only one abandoning ship. According to Bryan Alvarez of WRESTLING OBSERVER, another superstar is considering leaving WWE when their contract with the company ends.
Alvarez mentioned on the podcast "Bryan And Vinny Show" that a wrestler in the company has already communicated their decision to management. The well-known wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer commented on the information on Twitter and even shed some light on the matter:
I know the rumor, have checked around and gotten no confirmation on it https://t.co/r8Ud3wVU4v

I know the rumor, have asked and they have not confirmed it.
Bryan Alvarez continued by stating that the identity of the supposed superstar leaving WWE would not leave anyone indifferent. Although they did not explicitly mention a name on the program, speculations have begun and we have put some possibilities on the table:
Titus O'Neil
The former WWE Tag Team Champion is in a very delicate situation with the company and is currently suspended following his incident with Vince McMahon. Titus has already stated in an interview that he wants to end his contract with the company. Is he the subject that Alvarez is talking about?
Dolph Ziggler
The wrestler has been surrounded by rumors of a possible departure from WWE for several years, and it would not be surprising if he asked for his release. Although he recently re-signed with the company, Dolph could leave at the end of his agreement to try to find a lighter schedule.
Possible Retirement: Mark Henry or Kane
Both men have few bullets left to fire in their careers and it would not be surprising if one of them has communicated their decision to retire.
Underutilized: Damien Sandow, Jack Swagger...
These are just two names from a long list of wrestlers who are not being utilized or are not in major projects within the company. It would not be surprising if some of them have decided to follow in the footsteps of other former colleagues and want to go to TNA, NJPW, or the independent circuit.
