Among the multiple notes about the disagreements apparently existing between Vince McMahon and Triple H, another one is added that has to do with an exclusive line of NXT action figures.
Several NXT wrestlers already have their action figures, and so far the ones of Finn Bálor and Bayley have sold very well.
However, according to Richard Gray, from WrestlingNewsWorld, Triple H’s idea was to create a new line dedicated to the yellow brand:
“There are more examples of Vince thinking Triple H wants to make NXT 'too big for his boots'. Hunter has attempted to create a complete series of NXT action figures that are exclusive to WWE.com and NXT live events. Mattel is open to the idea, but with reservations, because they are concerned that this will upset their traditional distributors.
“A source told us that Triple H has handled the idea as a way to gauge the atmosphere and see if they can be distributed in stores if the trial period on WWE.com is successful.
“Vince stepped in and sought to cancel the whole project, and now it appears it won't happen, at least not for a good while”.
