WWE Fastlane 2016: AJ Styles Defeats Chris Jericho

In a true classic of professional wrestling, AJ Styles defeated Chris Jericho during WWE Fastlane 2016.

The match began with a great display of ground wrestling, but soon escalated to another level, as both Jericho and AJ Styles received the enormous support of an almost evenly divided audience.

During the match, Jericho disrespected his opponent with slaps and insults, as well as frustrating his movements. But AJ Styles showed that he is on the level of a true ring master like Y2J.

In the final moments of the match, AJ applied the Styles Clash, but Jericho responded before the count. Styles applied his powerful Calf Crusher and made Jericho submit in a dramatic ending.

After the match, Jericho stopped AJ Styles' celebration and appeared angry, but after thinking for a second, he extended his hand, showing respect, while the audience showed their appreciation with applause.
