Pro Wrestlers Engage in Twitter Battle
Provocations between wrestlers on social media are the order of the day. Currently, these interactions have become a revolutionary way to continue a rivalry between members of the same company without the need for scriptwriters or more televised events.
It is also very common to see wrestlers from different companies exchanging words for reasons of mutual respect or some controversial statements. Something similar almost happened today between TNA Heavyweight Champion Matt Hardy and WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day. A fan asked Matt when he was going to return to WWE with his brother Jeff to dethrone New Day as champions. Matt responded to the fan and a peaceful verbal battle ensued between him and Big E.

Yes, Matt Hardy admitted that someday he would return to WWE to face New Day. Would crowning Matt as Heavyweight Champion have been a strategy to prevent him from leaving Vince McMahon's company and to keep the Hardy brothers happy? Unfortunately, we do not have that information, but it is possible that we will see the Hardy Boys in WWE at least one more time to dispute their last match.
