Big E, WWE Champion and member of New Day, spoke to Sportsnet and expressed his surprise that fellow wrestler Cesaro has not become a world champion.
"I thought with the Draft beforehand, I could face someone like Cesaro, someone like Kevin Owens, although you really didn't know where the guys were headed. But Cesaro has never been a world champion, which is a little hard to understand, it's hard to believe. I can't speak highly enough about how incredible he is in the ring, not to mention an incredible human being. He's an extremely talented guy and he hasn't had the same opportunities," said Big E.
In more than 10 years with WWE, Cesaro has only had one opportunity for a world championship, and it was this year against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania Backlash for the Universal Championship. In that match, the 'Tribal Chief' emerged victorious after making the 'Swiss Superman' submit.

On the other hand, Big E became WWE Champion for the first time in his career after cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase against an injured Bobby Lashley. With this victory, he became the second member of New Day to win the company's top title, following in the footsteps of Kofi Kingston at WrestleMania 35 when he defeated Daniel Bryan.
