It has been almost six years since the "Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels retired from the WWE at WrestleMania 26, after a legendary match against the Undertaker. Since that day, rumors have circulated about a possible return to the wrestling ring. Unfortunately for his fans, the legend has remained faithful to his retirement and has rejected all opportunities to compete in the WWE again.

During the latest edition of Ric Flair's podcast, Wooooo!, with special guest Chris Jericho, the "Nature Boy" mentioned that Vince McMahon made a generous offer of money to Shawn Michaels to bring him back to compete in the 30-man battle royal.

Ric Flair admitted that despite the offer, it would be very difficult to take HBK out of the lifestyle he currently enjoys at his ranch in Texas, so it would not be good to get our hopes up. However, on the road to WrestleMania, anything can happen and what seems impossible, for the WWE and especially for Vince McMahon's wallet, sometimes becomes a reality.
The last time we saw Shawn Michaels in a Royal Rumble was in 2010, entering at number 18, only to be eliminated by Batista. It is important to remember that Shawn is a specialist in this type of match, as he has achieved victory on two occasions in his career.
