This Tuesday, WWE joined Blackout Tuesday with a black background image in support of the social protests following the death of African American George Floyd. However, fans are not entirely happy with this act.
The company shared this image on their Twitter account with the following statement: "WWE supports an inclusive society and condemns racial injustice. We stand beside our black artists, employees, and fans, and encourage each one to use their voice to protest against racism. We offer our sincere condolences to the family of George Floyd and the relatives of other victims who lost their lives due to this violence."
Despite this, fans have pointed out the photos of Vince McMahon, WWE's leader, with the current President of the United States, Donald Trump. They are great friends and it is rumored that McMahon will be present in the economic recovery campaign in the country after the coronavirus crisis.
