Everyone joins the celebration. After the special SmackDown episode in his honor, Paul Lavesque, better known in the world of wrestling as Triple H, received congratulations from the President of the United States, Donald Trump, for his 25-year career in the industry and in WWE.
The American president retweeted the message that Vince McMahon, WWE owner and Triple H's father-in-law, had written to his son-in-law: "We didn't know a quarter of a century ago, but he would change 'The Game' forever. Happy 25th anniversary to my son-in-law."
Trump replied: "Triple H is a total winner."
However, the President faced immediate criticism as his measures to control the coronavirus pandemic have not been effective, resulting in over 52 thousand deaths in the nation.
"52 thousand dead Americans and this is what you tweet about, necrophile demon."
"There is a bright side to the pandemic: It's happening during your one and only term, @realDonaldTrump."
Trump's relationship with wrestling is very close, as he is a member of the WWE Hall of Fame after participating in various events, including a WrestleMania, alongside his friend Vince McMahon. It was recently reported that McMahon would be involved in the country's economic recovery campaign following the crisis.
