Difficult weeks for WWE. The company has had to move its biggest annual event, WrestleMania 36, to a location without an audience in Orlando, Florida, and has divided it into two consecutive days due to the coronavirus. However, the wrestlers are eager to prove that the company can move forward despite the problems.
One of the protagonists of the two nights (April 4th and 5th) will be Edge, a wrestler who returned after 8 years of retirement due to an injury. "The Rated R Superstar" is creating a fabulous story with Randy Orton, another legend of the company, and only the confirmation of his opponent is needed to officialize their Last Man Standing match.
Asked by his fans, Edge has broken the silence about this historic edition of WrestleMania: "We are experiencing a situation that we have never experienced before and people need outlets. For us, it is a privilege, an honor, and also a responsibility to continue with the show. If, by tuning into WrestleMania, the audience can have fun for a few hours, our mission will be accomplished."
He also spoke about his grand return to WWE: "After 9 years of rest, being in the Royal Rumble was overwhelming, it was the first time I felt nervous. Once the music started... it's impossible to explain. Coming back has been a challenge, and I thrive on challenges."
As it is remembered, WrestleMania 36 was moved from Tampa Bay to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, due to the latest provisions of the state regarding the coronavirus pandemic.
The event will be exclusively streamed on the WWE Network.
