In a surprising kickoff to Survivor Series, Goldust returned to WWE television to face his brother in a classic team match that characterizes the event.
Goldust quickly eliminated Viktor and looked in excellent physical condition. Later in the match, Konnor was eliminated by Bubba, leaving the heels at a huge disadvantage. Bo Dallas and The Miz teamed up to eliminate Neville, but they were soon eliminated as well.
In the final moments of the match, Stardust tried to escape, but his brother brought him into the clutches of the Dudley Boyz, who executed a brutal 3D.

The match sets the stage and increases the possibility of seeing the dream match between brothers, especially knowing that Stardust has revealed that Cody Rhodes could return if Goldust manages to defeat him.
