As we had already reported here in SUPER FIGHTS, the Traditional Five-on-Five Pay Per View (PPV) Match WWE Survivor Series, will finally take place this year. Although it will be something that can be considered last minute, it will involve Superstars with ongoing rivalries.
And although WWE has not officially announced the names of the wrestlers who will be participating, today we have learned some exclusive information that comes from backstage and was published by the news website, WrestlingNewsWorld.com, where the possible participants for this match are revealed.
The ones most likely to be selected are:
THE NEW DAY (Big E, Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston)
THE USO BROTHERS (Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso)
RYBACK
NEVILLE
And in addition to those 7 confirmed, the following could be added:
KING BARRETT
- In the editions of 1987 and 1988, there were 5-on-5 matches.
- From 1989 to 2000, there were 4-on-4 matches.
- From 2001 to 2004, there were five-on-five matches.
- In 2004, there were only 4-on-4 matches.
- From 2005 to 2014, there were five-on-five matches (as is expected to be the case in 2015 as well).
- In 1994, 2006 and 2014, there were mixed 4-on-4 and 5-on-5 matches.
- In 1998 and 2002, no traditional matches were held, making them the only two years without this type of match.
Let us remember that during the previous editions of 2010 and 2012, this match, which is already legendary in WWE history, was on the verge of not being held.
