The Closed Coliseum of Iquitos was the stage for the return of Jesús Pinedo to action after his time in the UFC. The 'Mudo' defeated Argentine Nano Alegre by technical knockout in the second round of the main event of ICC 6.
After a first round in which Pinedo looked for kicks and his opponent fought at close range, the fighter from Pitbull Martial Arts Center came out more aggressive in the second round. In an exchange of blows, the Peruvian connected with a right hand that sent his opponent to the canvas.
Seeing the state of his opponent, Pinedo took advantage to finish the fight with a series of punches. Thus, he returned to the path of victory and notched his 17th professional win. In the co-main event, Vicente Vargas fell to Brazilian Tiao Calixto by unanimous decision.
Additionally, Fernando Noriega defeated Andy Ríos, a fighter from the Jungle, by unanimous decision from the judges. Meanwhile, Heimo Carvalho overcame Fernando Amoretti by split decision in the main card of ICC 6.
