A great day for wrestling fans. This Wednesday the “war” between the companies WWE and AEW began with the airing of their shows NXT and Dynamite on American television, in a clear reminder of the "Monday night wars" in the 90s.
The one with the highest expectations was All Elite Wrestling, due to the previous events held. Fortunately, it didn't disappoint and gave us great fights and particular moments that show us that the industry is going through one of its best moments.
Peru in AEW
During the main event of the night, The Elite (Young Bucks and Kenny Omega) faced Chris Jericho and LAX in a 3 vs. 3 match. While the match was taking place, there were several interventions from wrestlers like Jon Moxley (a.k.a Dean Ambrose in WWE) or Cody Rhodes himself.
When everything got out of control, Jack Hagger (a.k.a Jack Swagger in WWE) appeared and unleashed the excitement of the audience. Fans were not expecting such a return as the wrestler was on a good streak in the MMA circuit and they chanted "We the people" (Swagger's classic chant in Vince McMahon's company) to show their joy.
Curiously, the final shot of 'Dynamite' zooms in on Hagger's face and, in the background, a Sport Boys club t-shirt is displayed.
The image spread quickly on Peruvian social media. A curious fact that is part of the beginning of a new era in wrestling.
