Although the return of Alberto del Rio to WWE seemed to be a fact for weeks, it was crossed with some speculations (like signing with TNA or appearing on the tour in Mexico).

The most recent leaks contained some truth and something that the wrestler must have said only to "cross" the insiders: The truth: that he would no longer take dates after November. The lie: that he did not want his return to be a surprise.

@NoeGuzmanGuadia @luchalibreaaa @MPenaAAA @JRoldanAAA definitely who publishes on that blog only makes baseless assumptions.

Alberto del Rio knew how to play his cards when negotiating directly with Triple H for a new contract. His advantages were the unfair way he had been fired, the fact that as a free agent he was highly valued, and that WWE was so in need of a Latin star who was already established and dominated the style of the company. Rey Mysterio had already slipped through their fingers, as he signed with Lucha Underground, while Carlito said he would only accept with a reduced itinerary.

And what was not granted to Carlito, Alberto del Rio obtained, who will have fewer dates - possibly in non-TV events he will only be scheduled in places with Latin fans.

In his favor, Alberto del Rio could boast about the reactions he achieved with AAA in Triplemanía or in the Copa Mundial de Lucha, which although misleading, both are superior to those achieved on WWE's recent tours in Mexico.

Another concession, which is actually normal in WWE, is that they will allow him to finish the independent dates he already has scheduled. WWE always has this courtesy when they hire someone, although they usually debut them after their dates are finished.

Del Rio, as El Patrón Alberto, will wrestle the pending dates with both AAA and other companies with which he has previously established commitments (possibly WWL on November 14th).

This could give the impression (perhaps this is how they will handle it) that AAA and WWE have an alliance, but there is none and it would not make sense for there to be one.

Although after Mýzteziz's escape from AAA, El Patrón's departure is another hard blow for the company, at least the potosino will not leave through the back door, but in a grand way, in what will be a kind of farewell tour. It will be interesting to see how he justifies his return to a company he railed against, branding it as racist.

And now that El Patrón has the AAA Megachampionship, we'll have to see who his challenger is. It should be someone representative of AAA's past rather than a young person. In April 2000, Mike Awesome signed with WCW as the ECW World Heavyweight Champion. They allowed him to return to ECW for one date to defend the title, and what Paul Heyman did was call Vince McMahon and borrow Taz, who returned to ECW for that night. Thus, a wrestler contracted with WWE and a wrestler contracted with WCW faced each other in the ECW ring. After that, Taz appeared for several weeks in WWE with the ECW title around his waist.

Whoever Alberto del Rio's challenger may be, we only hope that he has the courtesy that John Cena had with him... Although it is a lot to ask, because in terms of wrestling, Mexico is Egolandia. There will surely be fouls and referees knocked out.
