The former UFC champion, Cain Velasquez, is starting in the world of wrestling after his successful debut a few weeks ago at Triplemanía. Although he is an MMA star, his passion also revolves around entertainment sports and he already has some high-profile opponents in mind.
During a UFC event in Mexico, the fighter confessed that he is not thinking about returning to the mixed martial arts company yet, but rather he is focused on his upcoming matches with the AAA company. He also mentioned the challenge from Goldberg.
"The challenge against Goldberg appeals to me, I also want to fight against Brock Lesnar, but my dream is to do it against The Rock. I believe it can be achieved in terms of contracts, for me it is the ultimate, it is my dream," he said during the interview.
Another fight against Lesnar?
Velasquez and Lesnar have known each other for a long time, being rivals in UFC. In episode 121, Cain defeated him cleanly to win the championship amidst a general uproar.
However, they are very different disciplines. Velasquez is starting in the world of wrestling and is developing a high-flying style despite his weight and muscularity. Lesnar, on the other hand, is a powerhouse, a character known for delivering devastating blows and quickly ending fights.
