What happened? EC3 and Chad Gable faced each other in a match, which EC3 won. When Gable was celebrating, the 24/7 champion R-Truth appeared and raised his hand.
At that moment, EC3 took advantage of the situation and rolled up R-Truth. One. Two. Three. We have a new 24/7 champion. Immediately after, EC3 ran away and the rapper wrestler followed him.
In less than a minute, they both returned to the ring. The then champion was distracted and received a German suplex from Gable. R-Truth only had to cover EC3 to regain his belt. This way, he became a 17-time 24/7 champion.
