Stephen Thompson will have another opportunity to get back to winning ways after losing to Anthony Pettis. That's right, he will be facing one of the toughest welterweight contenders, Vicente Luque, on November 2nd at UFC 244.
Although the news was known a couple of days ago, UFC has just confirmed it through their social media. With this, 'Wonderboy' will return to the octagon after eight months, while Luque comes from a thrilling fight against Mike Perry.
Thus, UFC 244 adds another fight to its card, which currently has seven confirmed bouts. Among them is the welterweight showdown between Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal.
It is worth noting that UFC 244 will take place at the legendary Madison Square Garden in New York. And this event will be the 500th live show in the history of the mixed martial arts promoter currently led by Dana White.
