Undoubtedly, Rey Mysterio was one of the most anticipated wrestlers by Peruvian fans at WWE in Lima 2019. And as expected, the crowd chanted his name as he entered the ring at the Jockey Club del Perú.
In fact, Rey Mysterio received a customized Peruvian national team jersey with his name and the number 619 engraved on it. After the welcome, he took the microphone and said that his match against Randy Orton was dedicated to the late wrestler Eddie Guerrero.
"Tonight and this match is in Eddie's name," declared Rey Mysterio, who then closed his speech with a "Viva la raza," a famous phrase of the late wrestler. Unfortunately, he lost to Randy Orton after a surprising RKO.
As you may remember, WWE came to Lima for the fifth time, following a show in Colombia. After their visit to our country, the company will head to Panama to close the first part of the tour in Latin America.
