As the second fight of WWE SummerSlam 2019, Goldberg humiliated Dolph Ziggler and took the victory that night.
Dolph Ziggler started the match with kicks to the chin of the legendary wrestler. However, and after the astonishment of the audience, the veteran applied a spear and his jackhammer to finish it.
Despite the defeat, Ziggler continued to provoke his rival with insults, who applied two more spears to him.
The last appearance of Goldberg was in Saudi Arabia against The Undertaker in a fight that left much to be desired. Therefore, "The icon of WCW" was looking for a new duel where he could deliver the best of his repertoire.
Previously, Becky Lynch retained her RAW women's championship against Natalya. Minutes before the main event, Edge reappeared and applied a spear to Elias.
