Lucas Matthysse doesn't seem to feel pressure for the fight this Saturday against Filipino legend Manny Pacquiao, to take place in Malaysia, where the Argentine will defend his WBA (World Boxing Association) welterweight title.
On the contrary, Lucas Matthysse has shown himself to be quite calm and confident of defeating Manny Pacquiao. In fact, the knockout specialist stated that the Filipino has never faced an opponent as dangerous as him.
"He is a great champion but he has not faced the Machine yet," said Lucas Matthysse in a press conference. "If he decides to retire after I have defeated him, it will be his decision, but I am here to defend my title," added the Argentine boxer.
Manny Pacquiao, on the other hand, stated that he trusts the work he has done in recent months thinking about the fight with Lucas Matthysse. But the current senator of the Philippines preferred to save his words for the boxing ring.
"I think that the two of us in the ring can put on a good fight and that the fans will enjoy it," replied Manny Pacquiao to the threats from Matthysse. Who will end up celebrating in Kuala Lumpur?
